Journalist David Walsh (Chris O’Dowd) of The Sunday Times investigates famed cyclist Lance Armstrong (Ben Foster) for doping.

The Program (working title Icon) is a 2015 British-French biographical drama film. The film is based on Walsh’s book Seven Deadly Sins. It premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival on 14 September 2015 and was theatrically released in France on 16 September and the United Kingdom on 14 October.

Young Jesse Owens becomes a track and field sensation while attending the Ohio State University in the early 1930s. With guidance from Coach Larry Snyder, Owens gains national recognition for breaking numerous records. After heated debates, the United States decides not to boycott the Olympics in Nazi Germany. Overcoming racism at home and abroad, Owens seizes the opportunity to show Berlin and the world that he’s the fastest man alive.


Race is a 2016 biographical sports-drama film. It is the second feature biopic film about African American athlete Jesse Owens, who won a record-breaking four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. On October 1, 2014, Focus Features originally set the film Race a release date for April 8, 2016. In August 2015, the release date was changed to February 19, 2016. On February 15, an advanced screening of the film was shown at Mershon Auditorium at The Ohio State University, Jesse Owens’ alma mater. Stephan James and Owens’ two daughters were in attendance and addressed the crowd. The President of Ohio State, Michael V. Drake, also addressed the crowd and spoke briefly about Owens’ global impact and life at Ohio State.
